IT Support Engineer for a Leading Financial Institute

This is our key software development centre outside London, and you will be joining our team of 30 engineers working on exciting projects, upgrading to new technology, and creating cutting edge web and mobile application solutions for the Institute.


  • Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support to our overseas offices (Colombo, Dubai, Mumbai, and Manila) as well as the UK Head Office in London.
  • Determine software and hardware requirements to provide solutions to problems as well as respond to enquiries about the same.
  • Organize repairs or replacements.
  • Adapt existing programs to meet users’ requirements.
  • Advise users how to fix minor problems with computers, software or equipment.
  • Installing and downloading software.
  • Monitor equipment, computer systems or software to ensure best performance.
  • Excellent English, verbal and written.
  • 2 years’ experience of providing 2nd and third line support (MSCE and CCNA).
  • Windows, desktop, network and applications experience.
  • An A-Level/degree level IT qualification would be a useful advantage.
  • Windows server /network/reporting tools are an added advantage.
  • IP phone systems are an added advantage.
  • A flexible and enthusiastic approach.
  • Willingness to learn.
